Project Description
This is an 8 unit development of studio apartments including 2 disability modified units. It is targeted at singles.
Project Partners
This project was made possible through funding of over $800,000 from the Office of Housing. Other important partners include the Homeless Peoples Association, Stoll-Long Architecture and Darjelyn Construction Pty Ltd.
Design Features
The building has the following environmentally sustainable and general design features: Reflective venetian blinds for light and sun control Gas space heating Cooling through cross flow ventilation Free common laundry facilities including high speed, water efficient, front loading machine Storm water retention for garden use Drought tolerant landscaping Bulk supply utilities to remove the need for tenants to arrange individual utilities
